We only have two adults and a 10 month old and we run it almost 2-3 times a week. It seems like in a matter of a few days we have it filled. The hidden controls are great for us because we have a small child who'd love to start it up and let it run! The issues are that although it seems to be a big unit, it is relatively small or lacks space to put dishes in. We went from one that you could barely have a conversation while running, to one that you can barely hear. The strengths include a beautiful stainless finish, hidden controls, and an extremely quiet wash cycle. It has great features, but some issues as well. I waited nearly 10 hours in the frigid Wisconsin temp for this refrig. I have owned this dishwasher since Black Friday (November of 2010). I think it would only work well for someone that puts all their dishes in the dishwasher spotless. On the positive note, it is much quieter than my old dishwasher.īut I personally would never buy this dishwasher again.

I was told by one of their customer service reps that she wouldn't even put a strand of spaghetti into the dishwasher.Ī tine from the top dishwasher rack also broke off within a couple weeks of using it.
#Ge triton quiet 3 manual
But that is not what the owner's manual says. The dishwasher is working as designed and they recommend prerinsing all dishes before washing. I have contacted GE about this and they have said I'm stuck. So now I pretty much have to completely clean all plates and dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. It also sometimes removes food off the plate and redeposits it on the back of the plate next to it. The GE Monogram dishwasher can not get anything sticky completely off the dishes or plates. This is not the case with this new diswasher. My old Maytag responded great and dishes came out clean. If there is leftover food on the plate, I dump it in the disposal and then place the plate in the dishwasher. I do not preclean dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.
